We're hoping to ship Metroboard around March.
After launch ends on October 30th, we will prepare to send your orders to our manufacturing partners to build. Afterwards, they will be shipped to our distribution partner who will then ship them to you.
This takes a few months, so March is our best estimate. As with any new product, there can be bumps and challenges along the way, but we will be sure to keep you updated and informed as we go along.
You will pay for shipping later, when Metroboard is ready to ship.
This allows us to offer you the best rates rather than guessing and overcharging right now.
We will collect addresses right before shipping Metroboard, so you'll be able to provide the best address for you at that time.
If you miss the e-mail or we don't hear back, we won't ship your Metroboard to the wrong address. We'll keep trying to get in touch, and hold onto it until we hear from you.
We know that a lot of you are getting Metroboard as a gift for someone else - something we're honored by and take very seriously.
If your occasion (birthday, anniversary, the holidays) is before Metroboard ships, we will offer an "interim gift" you'll be able to get, if you so choose.
This "interim gift" will likely be a nicely designed metroboard-themed letter that you can give your gift recipient in the meantime.
We will plan to offer it as affordably as possible (~$5) if you would like it as an option.
You do not need to do anything to receive priority shipping and your launch souvenir.
As long as you used the same e-mail for your order as your reservation, we will be sure to attribute these perks to you.
The mailers have no bearing on launch - they are extra fun little "thank you's" from us to you. All important information is being sent over e-mail.
If you received a shipping notification for your first mailer, but haven't received it yet, get in touch so we can send you a replacement.
We also are sending a second mailer to everyone, but it may not arrive before the launch date. Keep an eye out for it.
You'll select the city (or cities) for your Metroboards after the launch ends, via a survey we'll send through e-mail.
Your card will be charged at the end of the campaign, on October 30th.
Please be sure your card is good for the purchase you made. If your card is declined, your order will be cancelled and discount forfeited, and sadly there's nothing we will be able to do about it!
City Sounds is our subway/city-inspired vinyl record, which will be launching alongside Metroboard.
You can add it to your Metroboard order for $30 when checking out.
As a reservation holder, you will get one full pack of trading cards for free! No action necessary.
